Time Keeping
With our time keeping system, the hassle of collecting time cards, adding hours, and submitting them to your payroll professionals is eliminated. Because our electronic time clock’s built-in modem automatically sends employee punches over the phone line, you can handle payroll without ever leaving your desk. Since the clock is Internet enabled, you can monitor employees across your entire organization from the privacy of your office using your personal computer—even if you have multiple clocks. With innovative electronic time service technology, managing your company’s payroll has never been easier.

Payroll Processing
Every pay period FreedomPay will process and provide you with payroll checks and earning statements, direct deposit report, standard reports including a payroll register with year to date information and update all federal and state tax fields. In addition we will work closely with you to create any additional reports that may help streamline information you need.

Direct Deposit
With this service, employees’ wages are deposited into their accounts automatically. For their recorders, Direct Deposit statements are distributed with their account numbers and amounts deposited. Employers receive a detailed report of all Direct Deposit transactions.

Tax Payment Services
This service automatically files and pays Federal withholding, FICA, State withholding, SUI (state unemployment insurance) and local withholding taxes. It also assumes full responsibility and timeliness of these payroll tax returns. This service includes automatic enrollment in the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EPTS) which meets IRS requirements for businesses that must electronically deposit Form 940/941 payroll taxes.

Check Signing & Insertion
With Check Signing & Inserting, FreedomPay applies the authorized signatures to your payroll checks, then inserts the checks and direct deposit statements in secured envelopes so your payroll is ready to be distributed the minute it arrives. With this service, you can be out of the office on payday and know your employees are being taken care of.

Human Resources Module
Written to complement our payroll product, our Human Resource Module includes numerous H/R fields, allowing for true integration from both payroll and H/R departments. The data is stored within the user’s file server so employee input may be saved, used and printed immediately.

Human Resources Hotline
With our Human Resource Hotline, you have the opportunity to request employee management research, guidance and solutions from our Human Resource experts at FreedomPay. The hotline is available to our clients Monday through Friday during business hours.

Section 125 Plan
This service enables you to provide a way of obtaining favorable tax treatments on benefits already offered. With Section 125 of the IRS Code, employee contributions are deducted from their salaries before taxes which gives them a lower taxable, which means more take-home pay. You pay less in social security (FICA) taxes.

Standard Reports

401(k) Report
  Lists 401(k) contributions for both the employee and employer portions. Employee name and Social Security number, gross pay and recurring amount or percent are listed. Also the employer matching percent and total balance are listed.
Direct Deposit Report
  Lists the direct deposits dollar amount for the period requested. Included will be employee name and ID number, sequence number, bank routing number and employee account number, deposit amount and per-note flags. Division, branch, department subtotals may also be printed by using a different sort order.
General Ledger
  Recaps activity to be posted to a client chart of accounts. G/L transactions can be created by several means in the Rapid Payroll System.
Input Worksheet
  Used to record hours for payment of each payroll. This report can be customized to display up to nine earning/deduction types critical to that client.
MTD/QTD/YTD Report
  Lists the Month-to-Date, Quarter-to-Date and Year-to-Date for all earnings, deductions and taxes for each employee. It will also list department and company totals.
New Hire Reports
  New employees must be reported to the State within 20 days of their date of hire. This report lists any newly hired employees in a given period, including the employee's name, address, social security number, birth date, hire date and filing status.
Payroll Register- YTD, QTD Employer Taxes
  This report details the calculated paycheck of each employee. Showing hours/earnings by code, gross, all deductions by type and amount, Federal, State and local taxes, net of check and check number.
Payroll Tax Report
  Provides the breakdown of all Employee/Employer Taxes for the run period. The information is provided in summary mode. No employee level data is provided. Totals are provided for each tax type, with the Tax ID and wages related to the tax display. Filing frequency is also displayed.
Time Off Accrual History Report
  Shows accrual history of each employee and department. Each check date will be listed with an earn or use code, accrual rate, hours worked, accrued hours, balance in hours and balance in dollars.
Workers’ Compensation Report
  Calculate the workers’ compensation premium based on the workers’ compensation rates and experience rates. Employee name and ID, workers’ compensation code, gross wages, adjusted wages, workers’ compensation rate, experience rate and premiums are also displayed.

Workers Compensation Insurance Program
The Hartford’s Exact Pay Workers’ Compensation Plan is a program which allows FreedomPay clients to pay their Workers’ Compensation premiums over the course of the year. Clients pay Workers’ Compensation premiums as they are earned on their individual payroll frequency basis. This product is a defined partnership between FreedomPay and The Hartford.

Product features include:

No down payment, (except for state expense constant usually less than $200.00)
True Workers’ Compensation costs are calculated by ACTUAL payroll.
Predictable premiums each payroll cycle
